Career Path In Tech That Don't Require Coding

When newbies join tech they most times feel tech is all about coding so they jump in and start learning a programming language and probably get stucked and most likely give up, In this article I'll be sharing with us some career path's in tech that don't require coding.

Product Management

Product management is the intersection of business, technology, and UX. A product manager guides every step of a product’s lifecycle from development to positioning and pricing by focusing on the product and its customers first and foremost. To build the best possible product, product managers advocate for customers within the organization and make sure their voices are heard.

Project Management

Project managers are responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects for an organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. Project management is the application of processes, methods, skills, knowledge and experience to achieve specific project objectives according to the project acceptance criteria within agreed parameters. Project management has final deliverables that are constrained to a finite timescale and budget.

Technical Writing

Technical writing is the art of providing detail-oriented instruction to help users understand a specific skill or product. And a technical writer is someone who writes these instructions, otherwise known as technical documentation or tutorials. This could include user manuals, online support articles, or internal docs for coders/API developers. A technical writer communicates in a way that presents technical information so that the reader can use that information for an intended purpose.

Digital Marketing

Digital marketing is the marketing of products or services using digital channels to reach consumers.
In a layman’s term digital marketing is simply using the normal marketing, promotion of services, or brand using electronic devices, social media and other technologies and techniques that are available on the internet.

Search Engine Optimization

Search engine optimization is the process of improving your site to increase its visibility when people search for products or services related to your business in Google, Bing, and other search engines. The better visibility your pages have in search results, the more likely you are to gain attention and attract prospective and existing customers to your business.

Software Testing

Software Testing is a method to check whether the actual software product matches expected requirements and to ensure that software product is Defect free. It involves execution of software/system components using manual or automated tools to evaluate one or more properties of interest. The purpose of software testing is to identify errors, gaps or missing requirements in contrast to actual requirements.

Business Development

Business Developers are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with other companies. Roles of Business Developer:

  • Identify and research potential clients.

  • Develop and maintain client relationships.

  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders.

  • Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives.

IT Support

An IT support specialist troubleshoots computer issues and provides guidance to users. Those in this role are responsible for helping users with any technical challenges they may experience.

User Experience Design

User experience (UX) design is the process design teams use to create products that provide meaningful and relevant experiences to users. This involves the design of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of branding, design, usability and function.

User Interface Design

User interface (UI) design is the process designers use to build interfaces in software or computerized devices, focusing on looks or style. Designers aim to create interfaces which users find easy to use and pleasurable. UI design refers to graphical user interface

Graphics Design

Graphic design is a craft where professionals create visual content to communicate messages. By applying visual hierarchy and page layout techniques, designers use typography and pictures to meet user’s specific needs and focus on the logic of displaying elements in interactive designs, to optimize the user experience.

3D Design

3D Artist builds 3D models of products, environments, and more. They use their ability to create photo realistic materials, lighting, and rendered images for various uses like marketing and advertisements and games.
